Award winning, clinically proven Dermalux LED phototherapy is a celebrity skincare favourite. Hailed as the perfect complexion boost, Dermalux uses unique combinations of non-invasive clinically proven Blue, Red and Near Infared wavelengths into the skins deepest layers to boost collagen production, increase hydration, calm redness and irritation and blitz blemish causing bacteria. Originally developed for NASA for plant growth experiments, LED was later discovered to have a beneficial effect for wound treatment and is now used as a skincare treatment. As the light triggers a whole cascade of skin enhancing processes, the benefits continue even after the treatment has finished. Skin cells are energised to revitalise a dull and tired complexion. A course of treatment offers long lasting results, stimulating the skin’s natural rejuvenation and repair processes to promote healthy looking skin, accelerate cell renewal and improve a range of skin concerns. Effective treatment and management of a wide range of cosmetic and medical indications as part of an overall skin care protocol. Indications for use include but as not limited to: skin rejuvenation; complexion; dry skin; pigmentation; acne (mild to severe); redness; sensitive skin; psoriasis; wound healing; pain.
Amanda Holden is a fan. Megan Markle had a course before her wedding and non- surgical procedure expert Alice Hart Davis raves about it. Amanda Holden recently shared a snap of her enjoying the rejuvenating benefits of the Dermalux Flex MD treatment at home. @alicehartdavis gave a fantastic recommendation of the Flex MD in the Daily Mail article ‘Come out of lockdown looking 10 years younger’. Nominated as a ‘Gadget that Really Works’, Dermalux Flex MD knocked nine years off Alice’s skin age after using it over 3 months during the first lockdown. Alice said “Unlike most LED masks which aren’t powerful or precise enough, this lives up to its promise. It is more expensive but uses medical-grade LEDs and has clinical studies to back it up.” The Tweakments Guide.
An intensive course of 12 treatments are generally recommended, taken in close succession (23 sessions per week) for optimum cell activation. Treatments should be at least 24 hours apart for acne, redness and sensitive skin. Regular maintenance is advised. For use prior to invasive procedures 4 treatments is recommended (2 per week) to enhance overall results and reduce post treatment downtime. Supercharge your skin for visible and lasting improvement. Once completed, maintenance treatments are recommended. Individual treatments may be used to energise skin instantly, revitalise a dull complexion, restore luminosity or calm irritation. A perfect boost before a special event or as part of an ongoing maintenance programme. Can be combined with other facials as an ‘add on’ treatment for superior and longer lasting results or to calm sensitivity.
